    Thumbs up Up-coming shoot-out

Recently, I decided that I would like to have some fun with this hobby and conduct a large shootout between some popular mini monitors found on todays market. In two weeks time, I will be conducting a shoot out between the:

    Totem Acoustic 'Mite'
    Von Schweikert 'VR-1'
    Meadowlark Audio 'Swallow'
    Audio Note 'Ax-Two'

The up-coming weeks will be very fun!

I guess I'm a proverbial knee-high to a grasshopper in the audio world, as I don't recognize a name there!

Oh well. I'm diggin' my Klipsch! :D

Whats the back end for the shootout consist of?
Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

The Musical Fidelity A100 integrated amplifier sporting 30 wpc, the first 10 pure class A. This amp can belt out serious music, and cook toast at the same damned time.

Rega Mira 3 integrated with the Planet 2000 being loaned to me.

The over achieving Teac L700p switching amplifier ran through the PC using an E-mu1212m card. No pre amp.

*POSSIBLY* a brand new prototype from Scott Nixon... an integrated, baby.

Lastly, Im looking at some Meridian gear. The 508.20 cd player with the 551 integrated. No guarantee that will be in the mix. I am crossing my fingers that the digi cam will be repaired when all of this gear is in here and together. I will only have a few weeks until I gotta decide what goes, and stays, so I can make room for some incredible equipment thats above the horizon.
