After 4 years of marriage, I'd say that is pretty accurate.

Shizelbs, don't worry, it'll be quick and painless. j/k

The 2nd pic is a perfect example of why we like nice and loud audio systems....heheh

Reminds me of the commercial with the football ref getting chewed out on the field by one of the coaches and the commentators are asking, how does he do it, he doesn't seem bothered? After the question, you see the ref getting chewed out by his wife....oh! that explains it..

    Yep...that pics explains everything.

Before marriage your name is Mr. Right after, all of a sudden, you name has changed to Mr. Wrong.

But if we know this ahead of time, why do we walk down the isle? Kinda like "Dead Man Walking." And don't even give me that "Oh, it won't happen to us" BS either. I can't tell you how many times I've heard that one before a guy got married (including my own).

I could go on about a few more items as well.

Do you know about the three rings of marriage?

The engagement ring, the wedding ring and the suffering.

I'd hate to think that you guys really do take marriage so lightly. Decide that the person you're marrying is the person you want to live with for the rest of your life, BEFORE the wedding. Avoid the messy and expensive divorces...

Sure, the sex is less frequent...and after a few years of marriage your opinon is moot, but the thing that bothers me the most is the lack of intrest in looking good for each other.

Thank is the most accurate thing you can say. I am recently divorced and my EX had it all planed about 6 months before it happened and what really irritates me is that she got the kids and she makes a whole lot of money atleast 5 times more than me and I pay child support not much but i do pay it on time every 5th of the month and all she can do is cry cry cry about not being able to pay the bills or food for the kids and she gets over 400.00 in food stamps and her self employed business and the support checks she gets from me. and her bills are half of what she is bringing in. so you all tell me what in the H*** is going on over their. It is just another evil nasty woman that is exerciseing her god forsakeing womens rights and to take advantage of the system in order to make the male species suffer.

A very old and wise, extremely foul mouthed, old friend told me that once you start hearing elevator music while your wife is screaming at you....it's time to ask for the check.

I"m sure MOST of the guys in here are just kidding. It's better to have someone in your life that you care about rather than the alternative of being single. Being single can be lonley at times..

I think a lot of guys can identify with the above pictures.. because it's true to some degree. Women tend to "soften" guys up some. Really, who wears the pants in the family? Your spouse, right? Admit it guys. They keep you from buying a new pre amp or other item every 6 months. :p and having a whole house full or gear.

    Maybe that's true.

I've never heard a woman complain about her husband keeping her from buying a new wardrobe (and accessories) every six months or keeping her from having a whole house full of shoes (most of which she never wears).

I have certainly never seen an eBay auction where a wife was selling off some jewelry or diamonds because "the husband says they are too big and have to go". :p

I am coming up on 14 years of taking the vows and my wife and I dated for 5 years before that. I wouldn't change things even if I could.
