    Default The Island

I just saw the Island last night...trying not to review any spoilers...

This movie was quite mindblowing. I thought this movie was a drama/thriller with a hint of action. Do not be deceived...there is plenty of action to boot. Think of the entire movie as a little set up and a lot of action with an intermixed storyline. The movie seems more like a book ...though I don't think it was based off of one.

Since this is polk I'll go ahead and state the sound was great, though the speakers weren't that great in my theater, I can tell what should more there would have been from better speakers.

The storyline is orginal...but seems familiar, will remind you of a lot of different sci-fi's.

Oh well I think it was great. ANd for the gentleman...guys out there I didn't think Scarlett Johanson was that hot in Lost iN translation...but wow in this movie...

Logan's Run? From the trailer it looks nearly identical.
