    Default weird speaker connectors

I found this on the bay. some kind of speaker connectors i've never seen before. it is on the rear of a Pioneer SX-6000 receiver. anyone know anything about this type of speaker connector? does it use some kind of plug like a AC type looking unit or what?

Yep, it's a separate block for each channel with two spades on one side and two screw terminals on the other side. You can buy new ones online for about $5.00 a pop.

Or if you're of the "cables don't matter" persuasion, you can literally use lamps cords :)

On that gear, it wouldn't make a difference.
