Default Gamer dies from playing Starcraft...

I s*** you not. I read this in yesterday's USA Today. A gamer died of an apparent heart attack after playing Starcraft for 49 hours straight at an internet cafe. No food, no water, just Starcraft. This bozo, identified by his last name of Lee, was 28, and had just been fired from his job because of skipping work to play computer games. I'm sorry that he died, and it's tragic, but come on. Give the effing game a break for a few hours. Eat. Sleep. Drink. Whatever. No game is worth dying over. On the other hand however, at least the guy died doing what he loved.

...and I don't even like that game

I heard stories when I was a kid about people dying playing Dungeons and Dragons, never knew if those were for real...

If I were to die from a game, I'd like that game to be Medal of Honor: Allied Assault . I want it to be right after I sneak up on a camper in a multiplayer match, and bash him to death with the butt of my rifle. I think I'd die happy.

Yep - with everything that's been released since, that's still my favorite game of all time, though Call of Duty is awesome also

Call of Duty was awesome. I've beaten it and the expansion pack at least twice. I was a little let down by multiplayer, though. It's fun, no doubt, but it doesn't have that fluidity that MOH has.

The only game I'm ever going to die playing is "Have a Heart Attack While Chasing Jenny McCarthy in the Nude".

I thought this guy had a shot at this year's Darwin Award until I heard about the horse f*cker in Washington.

The guy died because he's an effin moron, not because of a game.

People need to stop blaming their stupididty on objects that have no control over them and start taking the blame and placing it firmly on their dumb selves.
