It just came up. Im pretty sure thats $175 EACH. That sucks. Still a good price but I aint got the $350 to blow. :(

I may be mistaken but I believe the tweeters are almost identical at least in design and materials with the exception of the larger heatsink of the RTi. The construction as well as size are also the same as the RTis 4. I dont know about the crossovers etc. Call Polk and ask is your best bet.

That is strange because the item is listed as:

I think that 90 eb is simply a euro version of the 60 but has wood veneer sides.

We've got to get to the bottom of this. $175 a pair seems way too good to be true and if thats really what they are I cant pass this up.

Tweeter has a good habit of not clarifying what their sale price really indicates (pair or single) . They did the same crap last Thanksgiving when they had the T90e onsale last time . I would bet its for a single speaker , as when you add the item to your cart it only shows $17 shipping (free) ; when for a pair shipped it should be $32 shipping (as I purchased a pair of these last time they were onsale and shipping was $32 (free) . A pair of T90e's sold for $350 last time around ; with a later (rare) 15% off code that popped up after Thanksgiving (making it about $300/pair).

You never know though , you just may get a pair for $175 , but YMMV depending on the CS rep .

And ... yes the T90e are a tad different from the M60's ...... having a slightly upgraded tweeter , real wood veneer and black feet vs. silver . They do match pretty well with the RTi series (a good 90%) , specially in an HT environment (less for music) . I replaced my RTi6/fronts with the T90e's/fronts strictly for HT purposes and have no complaints .
For the money its a good buy .... if the price is REALLY $175 a pair ... then its a HOT buy (and I'll be buying another pair , lol)

Again , knowing Tweeter and their stupid web site descriptions (errors and such) , its hard to say what your paying for ... pair or single .

Do a forums search for "T90e" and you'll see what happened to us forum members last time the sale happened .

They obviously realized last year that people were thinking they were getting a pair of speakers and when they only got one they returned them and were upset at the confusion. So why would they do the EXACT SAME THING again this year?

I was just looking for the bargain of the century kind of thing, as I REALLY don't need to add to the dozen or so pairs of floorstanders I already own. I would have taken a set at $175 a pair, just because...... :D
