    Default Is bic audio and klipch the same speakers

    Is Bic Audio and klipch the same speakers, they look just alike to me, But I've never seen any bic's in person. Just thought I'd ask.

    Is 'bic' the company that looks like they copied Klipsch? They look almost exactly the same, supposedly are wonderful speakers (if you like horns), and are much cheaper than Klipsch. Is that them?

    This happens alot. There are B&W clones and even LSI clones out there.

    Both companies have been around for decades. B I C Venturis were some of the better values in the 70s.

    Yep, different company. BIC makes pretty decent speakers, especially for the price. I've owned some of the venturi's (the newer ones, not the vintage ones) and some of thier satellites. Solid little speakers. I haven't heard those new "Acoustech" Klipsch copies but have heard good things about them soundwise...not so good build-quality wise. But they gotta cut some corner somewhere to keep them inexpensive. Actually I believe Terrax has a whole setup of the "Acoustech" speakers for sale in the flea.
