    Default speaker wire upgrade?

    I am running monster xp-nw speaker wire. With the upgrades I have done do I need better wire?
    I been reading some past threads. Would signal or sound king wire make a difference?

    Other than save you some cash, probably not. Monster is not bad wire, just overpriced from a company with dubious marketing/litigation practices.

    You will get better results by upgrading your interconnects than your speaker wire.

    Sorry for the dumb question but:
    When you say interconnects, do you mean the cables from the yammie to the b&k amp?
    Also the b&k is a 3 channel st1430 series2. The 2220 fell through. I hope 185@4ohm will do a good job. Its a start.

    preamp too amp or source(CD) too preamp are referred to as interconnects.

    Did I miss what you're currently using for ICs?

    I should recieve the amp on Friday. The person I bought the b&k from said he would include the cables. He said they where from radio shack.
    I guess I might be ahaid of myself but I am trying to get everything right. Well, as right as I can. I dont have money to burn but if something is going to make a notable difference I will try it.
    I am going to get a tripp lite ht10 . I am also waiting for a reply from svs. Then that should complete my system.
