very good sounding CD player

I've got a couple of these CDP's recently. i am quite surprised by their nice sound.. and they can usually be had for a resonable low cost. if anyone is looking for upgrade their CD player but is on a tight budge like me.

(i know this ain't no reference CD player or anything. but for the usually low used prices these are going for... it's well worth it. this one seems to be in very decent condition).

NAD CDPs have always been considered to be above average build quality and offer very good performance (especially in the "bang for the buck" category).

the one i bought most recently. and was delivered to my house while i was at PF 2005 i won the auction for $56 your milage may vary. not bad for the nice sound quality you get. like shack said... good bang for buck ratio on this one. I have yet to use the digital output.. analog outputs sound quite good. it does have two sets of analog outs. fixed and variable.

I promise not to hoard this one listed on the bay. ;)

What do you mean variable? Does this mean I can hook it up directly to a power amp and it would serve as its own preamp with volume control?
