I am now looking at an ARC Audio 12D2 :). I want to go with a Sounsplinter RL-p12 but after speaking with Mike the box is going to have to be bigger than I really wanted it to be. The ARC just recenlty got a good review on Car Audio & Electronics. While they tested it in a 1.25 cubic foot box, it was stated that you could use the recommended .90 cubic foot box with a lower crossover setting (probably around 60-80Hz). It had a slight hump in the frequency response in the upper bass regions, but if I use it will not be playing those notes. A good old American made sub :), just like my Soundsplinter! I should be getting my ARC 2100-XXK soon :).

Nothing shabby about anything with the name ARC stamped on it. I especially like their amps.

Yeah those things are pretty nice :). I will listen to how this setup with the XXK-2100 sounds for the front speakers. It is supposed to do 100 watts RMS in stereo, but it will push more than that. My original plan was to go with the 2100 for the sub and go with the XXK-4050 for the front speakers using the crossover's from the amp so I can have an active setup. We shall see...... I may just go with two 2100's, one for the sub and one for the fronts.
