    Default getting mm455's to fit

im still working on getting my 455's to fit
i went to the metra site to order the mounting adpaters(part number 82-3002) and i found the adapters but no place to order them...
did i just not look hard enough or what?
and i was told if they still fit a little tight i should remove the beauty caps
what are these for and how hard is it to take them off?
if i take them off will it compromise performance
i have 2 mm120s and if it compromises the bass a little on the 455s thats fine
    thanks
    -Cody

    Cody,
These are a back cover for the magnet. They can be removed by removing the 5 Allen Head screws that attach it to the back of the magnet.
The 455's will work just fine with the MM120's. Set the crossover frequency to 90 Hertz for both the woofers and component speakers. If the crossover uses a 12 dB per octave slope you may to invert the phase on either the subs or the components
to get the best possible bass performance from the system. Just invert one set only. Do not invert both.

    Thanks,
    Kim
