SDA blown tweet?

I have a pair of sda2's,and I think one of the tweets may be blown,one of them sounds distorted at higher volumes,it doesnt rattle like a blown driver does,just sounds kinda like static.The other three sound clear,what do yall think...blown?If it is,should I just get a replacement,or do the tweeter upgrade,only thing I dont like about these speakers are the extremly bright highs!

Sounds like a bad tweeter. Is it a SL2000? I have one if you need it.

Hook the offending tweeter directly up to your amp. Start out with extremely low volumes and then slowly turn it up and see if you get any distortion.

I am just guessing here, but a full range signal to a tweeter.. it will distort
