A'gon Cary audio SLA-70B sig signature series $750

I can go listen to this if someone is interested in it. I know nothing about Cary's but it sounds like a good deal. I'm assuming it's 70 wpc but I don't know for sure. No affil.

What appears to be a push-pull 6550/KT88 amp, could be 70 watts, trannies don't look quite big enough, but they could be running on the ragged edge - if not 70, it's close 60~ or so. That is, unless it's Triode strapped at 30-35w.

I won't ever buy a Cary peice, unless it's DIRT cheap. Not due to build, circuit, reliability - due to CS - customer service. Want to talk about a holier than thou, the problem MUST be with you, or your associated gear, attitude - That's how they roll.

I called a Cary dealer in Gainesville Fl. Wanted to hear the 306/300 SACD/CD, lists for 6 Grand, the guy is a smaller dealer and Cary wont even send him one for me to hear for a demo. They really think I am going to plunk that kind of dough down and then MAIL it to me. I suppose the dealer could buy one but he just does not have a big enough market. Anyway, goes right along with what Russ is saying.
