Using grill endcaps for RTi on Monitor grills?

I know this sounds weird, but i love the look of the RTi line, especailly because of the little silver colors plastic ends on each end of the grill. I was wondering if i ordered some of these as parts, would they fit onto the grills for the monitor series? The widths of the speakers of the monitor series match some of those in the RTi line. I thought this might be a fun thing to do to make them look better.

Any thoughts?

I went to circuit city and they gave me the grill from a ravaged CSi5 display model. i popped off the endcaps when i got home and they snap on perfectly to my CS2 and Monitor70s. Now my CS2 looks like a psudo CSi5 lol, just slightly smaller.

The only main concern is that the silver isnt the exact same as the titanium face plate. Hmm i wonder what i should do :)
