    Default your opinion please

    hey guys,

Im kind of new around here, actually this is my first post but ive been lurking and reading/learning alot for a while here.

im just interested in your opinions on a set of speakers. my plan is to be using them for nearfield listening in a small room. room is maybe 14x14.
its actually my office. i want to find a pair of bookshelf but i really cant find what i was looking for on my budget.

powering them i have an Adcom GFA-545, Carver CT-7 pre, and an Integra CD changer (not the greatest but decent sound). i plan on going with a tube preamp in a few months or when one represents itself as a good buy w/ great sound.

just a quick reference to my other equipment. i have a 62'' Mitsubishi DLP, Integra DTR 7 receiver, Monitor 70's on the front, Monitor 40's in the rear, a Klipsch center (cant remember model but it matches great as far as sound, ya i wouldnt believe it either) and a crappy crappy old jvc sub which will be my next HT upgrade.

ok so back to looking at ebay/audiogon for me, unless someone has a nyce set of speakers for around 200-250 that are decent for me :D

    thanks for any help
    Dave
