    Default Looking to upgrade my DVD player & need help from you guys..

    I'm looking to upgrade from my sony nc685 dvd/sacd changer to a single disc player that has better redbook cd performance and doesn't take 2 seconds + to change dvd layers like the sony does.

    I'm looking into the Denon 1720 & any others you guys might recommend. I know Denon is popular for DVD players on here, but I don't know why. Don't want to spend anymore than $150.

    Any advice would be appreciated-

    I'd say wait a few months for HDDvd at around $500 or less if you already have a Xbox360, which will release a HDDvd add on for cheap

    If you bump your budget to $200, you can get an Oppo. I have been extremely pleased with mine.
