halo projector headlights

anyone know anything about them....will they be brighter than my stock honda headlights

'halo projector'...? if you mean xenon lamps, then yes, they will likely be much brighter than standard headlights... if you don't mean xenon, then what do you mean?

I think the general idea is they are a lot brighter than regular headlights with a specific cutoff point so that you don't blind everyone. It's all about limiting the beam of light by focusing it through a lens... thus the name "projector". A good setup though is going to cost around 300 bucks or more if you don't have anything other than regular halogen or xenon's in your car right now.

I need to get better headlights. The ones on my Ram are horrible.

I want some of those cool blue ones you see on some Benz's.

got 6-800 bucks? go for it, then... i looked into it for my car, decided that a mix of ultra-white and light blue-tint bulbs was the way to go...

i think those are like the ones i have (here and here)

they imitate the HID look but without true HID performance (or price)

The halos are more of a visual upgrade, not really performance. Its just a headlamp encasing that has a low-lit halo around one of the lights. The headlamps make the difference.

Check how high your headlamps are shooting and maybe adjust the height of the beam. If thats fine or doesnt help much, check out silverstars. I bought them for my camaro and theyre well worth the 40 bucks imo.

If your headlamp encasing is all crusted over and yellow looking like some of those get, the halos might not be a bad investment. They look pretty good and wouldnt be too much more than stock replacements. It doesnt matter how good the lamps are if the light cant get to the road.

you could look at what i believe are termed 'e-code' lamps (though i know not what that means)... here is what i'm talking about for my car...

these aren't halo lights, but are intended to provide a better beam pattern than stock, i believe...
