    Default Walking equipment

    I had some stereo equipment walk out of my house last night !


    If anyone sees anyone selling some equipment from the South Carolina (Charleston area) please post where (ebay, UBId web site) on this forum.

    The items are a proton pre amp / power amp D540; a KRELL amp KAV 80; B&K 305 ; Dalquist DQ-10 's

    They left my polks. two pair of 55i and 400i.

    I found out that my home owners insurances won't cover all of the items value. Big loss since the proton, krell and Dalquist was purchased in the 80's.

    I cruise the local pawnshops (money man, gene's) pretty regular......If you shoot me an email with model and serial #'s if you have 'em, I'll keep my eye out. I might keep the DQ's for myself though..

    I ALWAYS use an ass-gasket. Never hover because of splash down and back splatter. I also float landing pad made from TP for a soft landing to avoid the above. One can never be too cautious when dealing with the general public. - RonP

    Based on what they took, and what they left, I'd be willing to bet they know what they got. Meaning this, they will offload it for cash, they took the high $/rare items....

    I would bookmark your Krell/Proton/Dahlquist searches on ebay and audiogon, and check them VERY frequently.
