Default Help me name my audio company!

You heard me, baby. I had a vision last night that I wanted to start a very small speaker business, making bookshelf speakers and possibly small subwoofers. This won't happen for a few months at the earliest but while I'm waiting I was wondering if any of you guys have a cool name for the business? Bartolo Audio is the only thing I can come up with, and I'm really not that happy with it. My last name in Italy is Bartolomeo, but that's too long.

    I dunno.

Whatever you guys can come up with I'd really appreciate it!

    Thanks :)

Actually Bartolomeo does not sound bad at all....it sounds good... I can envision an add selling "Ferraris and Lamborghinis with Bartolomeo sound components"

    Good luck !!

I always thought it would be cool to bring a dead company back to life. It doesn't really fit your model, but they are ideas to look at.

    http://audiotools.com/dead.html

In regards to a suggested name, I would say Event Horizon Audio or Black Hole Audio, but the definitions aren't conducive to the original idea; although entirely applicable. I would like there to be something dark, subhuman or even a play on words that sounds cool, to be my choice.

Be original, not normal and safe.

There are alot of words in regards to Astronomy that would be neat and convey a sense of "out of this world" or "omniscient" images, but you would have to be able to back that up and not make them think you were just a Trekkie.

    No offense to Trekkies.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the input so far, guys.

Doro, I like where you're going. I was thinking of something along those lines but could only come up with Borealis Audio, Borealis Sound, etc. Then I thought about Celestial Audio. Low and behold, some guy already has it!

    http://www.celestialaudio.com/

I have many months to come up with a name but thought I'd throw it out here while the idea is still fresh in my mind. Keep them coming guys. If someone does come up with the final name I'll ship you a surprise package. :D
