I think so. He probably feels she "had it coming".

I know there is way more to this than what is in that short article. Maybe the lady was all in the bus driver's face. Maybe he politely asked her to get off the bus and she belligerantly refused. Maybe the "unidentified" lady was some body-building chick on steroids. Maybe he was assaulted or thought he was about to be assaulted by the lady and he just "lost it". Maybe this was the culmination of a long-running feud between the driver and the lady. The driver's actions were certainly inappropriate, but it would have been nice of CNN to have provided both sides of the story.

It would be interesting to read the comments of other bus riders (if any) who watched the incident. I am surprised (and a little bit disappointed) that there is no camera phone pic or video of this.

I have a feeling this was just the last in a long line of abusive *******s he's had to deal with.

I have the same problem. Im work for a beer distributor and these dipstick managers at these convenience and grocery stores have been losers all their lives and now have some authority and live to take it out on us vendors and of course we cant say a word about it as our company will always take their side. I cant count the number of *******s that Id love to throw into traffic.

Thats the problem with the world today, nobody gets their ass kicked anymore. One thing is for sure, if this lady was being a bitch, I bet she thinks twice before pulling that crap on somebody else.

I really cant say Physical violence is an appropriate response for any verbal mouthings short of "i am going to kill you" when the mouther posseses the means and ability to do so.

The dog was yappin and snappin at him , and she refused to cooperate, saying her husband would be furious..
He grabbed the little yapper and tosed it over his shoulde r...just happened that he was on the side of the road..!!

You know I am rapidly losing a great deal of respect for some of you so called men who keep trying to justify what this bullying jerk did!

When some jerk came on and said it was perfectly ok for a man to dump his responsibility of his child on his soon to be ex-wife so that he could party, only 2 men on this board stood up publicly and said he was wrong. Which gives the impression that the rest of you would do the same thing if you had the chance.

I am just shocked & appalled and greatly saddened by this attitude! :(

Sometimes it's just fun to read that someone did address someone's beligerant actions......sorry it was a woman, but if she was acting like a human being he probably wouldn't have snapped.

I'm not advocating the abuse of women....I'm just saying that I've experienced women (and men for that matter) who act in a way that provokes violence and anger because of their blatant disregard for human decency. If you want to treat someone like ****, then be prepared to be treated accordingly.
