    Default Monitor 7's and moving

I have Monitor 7's and believe they are the Mod 2's. I have moved a couple of times in the past few years and they have been in storage for the past few years. Is there anything I should be concerned about from the moving? Also I saw that spare parts are available. Should I order some of these for future use or do you think they will be available for the next few years... Finally I have one of the first center speakers from Polk (not sure of the model). Frys keeps advertising good deals on newer Polks. I have the Polk RC60i in the ceiling fro rear speakers. Any idea what current Polk might be a good upgrade...

it never hurts to have spare parts on hand. you never know when the supply could dry up.. with that said.. don't go overboard on buying spares. My experience is that unless abused, the drivers don't fail that often. The Monitor 7B's that I have still have all the original parts in em. I have a few spare drivers just in case too.

You shouldn't have any concerns on moving them. Just make sure the cabinet is kept in as good as shape as possible. Be sure to store them with something placed underneath just for safety sake. I've seen to many speakers with water damage from being set on the bare floor.

Default Well I wasn't as clear as I hoped

The speakers have been in storage and come out. No damage to the boxes which are original. Just wondering what I might want to stock up on for the future.

depends.. on what tweeter your 7's use.. if it's the SL2000, you don't have to stock up on any of those.. since there is a replacement tweeter that's more user friendly that the SL2000

see pic below for a pic of the SL2000. if your's look like this one. don't worry about stocking up on them.
