Default UPS, we'll see what happens...

The other day we were discussing UPS, I thought this would be interesting. My Denon 2910 is "out for delivery" according to UPS.com, but the scheduled ship date is for tommorrow, let's see if they take it back to the facility or deliver it a day early....:D

Boy that would be a first!

I always check and the day before it is supposed to be delivered it gets delayed.
I never get it early. Especially if I really want it.

ups is the devil. said it before and forever will. my special saturday package was delivered monday. ups rep used california wildfires as their scapegoat. sounds sorta like a pre-meditated excuse. the shipper told me there were no fires anywhere near anything ups would have used. blah. one more reason to hate them yet again. steve, good deal. now when are you gonna get yourselves a big screen?

Big screen will happen in the summer.

I'm not holding my breath on this "early" delivery thing, I just find it kind comical. UPS has to screw up, in order to do a good job--ironic huh?

It's really amazing that they are a business. Isn't the goal of a business to satisfy its customers? Not doing a very good job. They should take a few pointers from Polk!

For what it's worth I've had just as much trouble with FedEx. Yesterday I sat around waiting for a Cambridge Audio 540C that I ordered for my father. Normally FedEx comes through my area around noon. By 5 o'clock I still didn't have it so I checked the tracking. It said it had been delivered at 1:54 to the back door. Well it wasn't my back door. The Jack A$$ delivered it to a house a block away! Thank god I have an honest neighbor.

However this is really getting out of hand. This is the 3rd time in about 6 months I have had this type of screw up. Last two times he tried delivering a neighbor's package to my door. I could somewhat understand if the street names were similar, but they aren't even close. I think this guy just drives around all day trying to find matching numbers. Next time I see him I'll show him that he has to match the words too.

This is why I have most things delivered to work. It seems, in my case, that packages going to business have priority.

That's a pretty late early! I've never seen UPS deliver that late... Around here they're always done with their runs by 4:30-5.
