Default Still get chills every time I watch it...

If anyone enjoys the music of Coldplay, you owe it to yourself to buy the Coldplay Live 2003 DVD. I think I have mentioned it before, but this 5.1 recording is my favorite concert DVD. Sounds phenomenal and the performance they put on is awesome. I’ve been to one of their concerts and I don’t think any DVD can match them live, but this is darn close and if you have a sweet sounding surround setup, you’ll enjoy it even more. Pay close attention to the last two tracks, 16 and 17, just amazing. Please crank it and when that piano intro transitions into an explosive bass line, you’ll feel it.

Yeah, I think they're British. Not sure how to categorize them. Kind of progressive I guess. Kind of "rock", but not heavy.

Yeah, I think they're one of those bands you either like, or hate, no in between.

i like Coldplay alot.. BUT, so many of their songs are so slow.... they need to kick it up several notches and really rock out hard. i know they can do it too.. on XY, they showed slight signs of being able to really kick it up. but hardly ever do.

Coldplay are one of the rare mainstream bands that are actually very talented. They're worth seeing live.

Seeing them live was in all honesty the best concert I have seen.

Yes, I think they pull tracks from both of their previous albums. Plus it comes with a CD that is essentially a 2-channel version of the DVD, minus a thing here or there. Great CD if you ask me.

Yep, I agree. Seems their older music was little more like that, and I liked it. I still like it, but their latest album is pretty laid back. Maybe his newly found love has caused this ;) But they should still rock out every once in a while. Although, speed of sound was a pretty sweet opening to their concert and with the visual effects, pretty cool.
