    Default no sound on ipod after importing CD's

    Can anyone help ~ I am importing CD's onto Windows XP using AAC encoder, tunes play in itunes library and appear on ipod menu but there is no sound on the ipod. Other tunes downloaded from the internet work but having problems with imported CD's. I have updated both the Itunes and Ipod software but still no joy. Any suggestions??
