    Talking Why I Love This

Was in the middle of Fry's when I overheard a long forgotten song. Meandering my way to the piss-poor Sony LCD and Sony DVD carousel demonstration, I was pleasantly assaulted by a dark haired Pink in short, tight leather singing "Just Like a Pill". Sweet! Luv'd it. Luv'd the energy. Luv'd the attitude and I'm not even a fan.

That's what I love about being an audiophile, there's so much stuff out there. Leave no album, cd, dvd, or B side recording unturned. I'm an addict looking for the next musical high. Last month was Born Too Slow by The Crystal Method, this month I'm jamming to Pink!

Run just as fast as I can
    To the middle of nowhere
To the middle of my frustrated fears
And I swear you're just like a pill
Instead of makin' me better, you keep makin' me
    ill
    You keep makin' me ill

Video I saw was a clip of her performance during the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards. If you get a chance, check it out! Here's a review from Kidzworld.com. Holler back if you can find a link to the video.

P!nk gave a stellar performance of her latest song Just Like A Pill, which started out ballad-like with P!nk lying down on a couch and turned into a strong, rockin' performance showcasing Pink's amazing vocal ability. That girl can sing! Pink sported a blackish purple 'do and a leather get-up with tribal tattoos down one side of her body. I'm pretty sure these ones are fake though - unless she's spent the entire week at a tattoo parlor!

She's got serious talent, I have a couple of her CD's.
