Any of the rest of you find the auto setup or even db meter calibration sets up the SL and SR channels way too hot to sound right?
I guess correct calibration and my taste for what I want from the rear channels differs. I like them to be very well balanced against the front so that they create an 'airy' open image. Whenever I calibrate using either the H/K EZSet or my db meter, I wind up with a good 1/3 hotter level than I like. The channels are almost distracting and make the front 3 feel distant at times.
