"Proof" - quickie review

If you liked "A Beautiful Mind"....this one is similar....yet very different and better IMO. My wife and daughter said I should watch it....I left it laying around for a couple of days figuring it was some chick flick. WRONG! Gwyneth Paltrow and Hope Davis were superb. Jake Gyllenhaal was much better in this than the prior AWFUL movie he was in and Anthony Hopkins was.....Anthony Hopkins (enough said). Fairly short at just over 99 min. it kept my attention throughout. Probably overlooked by most but worth a rental at least. I liked it very much.

Wow.. I haven't even heard of it, but all the actors named are top notch. Anthony Hopkins is one of the best, IMO. Silence of the Lambs was one of his premier performances..
