Default Dynaudio udience line offered in realwood veneer's!!

    I spoke to a Dynaudio rep ,
they will be offering real wood veneer for the Audience line. They are also adding a color, birds eye Maple, thats just so cool.
The Contour offer's many more colors, and all are real wood veneer, they cost a ton more but for theater they can break you.
I'm a happy camper right now.

Hasn't Polk offered real wood veneer for quite a while now even on the lower end speakers?

Dynaudio is good, but damn they are expensive.

Not for what you get, and that's damn good sound.

    Mantis.

1: Is the wood going to be extra $ for the audience?

B: Speaking of the high cost of ht, what do you guys usually recommend as rears (5.1 only) with the 1.3SE or the 1.8? Four of either one of those speakers would be a real bite in the account! Can you get by with the 1.1s????

Last: It is good to hear that your camping experience is a pleasurable one.

    Yes,
It's about 10% charge for the finish.
1.3's for rears as well, you can use the 1.1's but when your spending that kind of money on speakers, price isn't an issue.
As I keep posting, I love these speakers the more I listen to them.God they are so clear and accurate.I think they are becoming me very favorite speaker line ever.

They are on the pricey side of things.
you can get intoa pair of bookshelves around 600 or so for Audience, they go all the way up to 85 grand.Evidence series, they are one of the best speakers made in the world period.
The Contour line is in the 2 grand to 8 grand range depending who and how you buy them.they have a speaker for just about everyone.
    go check out there website

    Sound familar?

    Unhappy

Well, If I knew before hand what my eyes would see and read, then I would have ignored your link completely, Mantis.

The Evidence seems to be simply astounding. Seems as if I have a new goal added to the list of current ones in life, and that is, to demo these babies.

Hmmm, now all I need is oh, 100k...

    Mantis.

Thanks for the info about the Dynaudios.

You said "when spending that kind of money on speakers, price is not an issue." Ha. Ha. Maybe to me and you, but Mrs. 6pack doesn't always see things that way when it comes to audio stuff. Four 1.3SEs msrp at 7 grand!! Well like I have said before, the matching jewelry tariff for these audio spending binges can really hurt. Ouch!!!
