Musical Fidelity X-10v3 tube output buffer

Just curious if anyone here has tried one of these in there system? I'm half tempted to give one a shot. Any feed back would be appreciated. Thanks

I've got two of them in separate rigs. Seems to bring out the midrange more and add a little extra bass in both systems. In other words it seems to add to the dynamics. I did a review a while back last year if you do a search. I use mine between my solid state cd players and my pre.

It certainly is an interesting piece and you should be able to tell the difference. I put it in the tape loop of my integrated amp once and switched back and forth and could tell the difference very easily.

This is a great way to add a little tube magic to solid state gear if you don't already have tubes somewhere.

I like the X series from MF. I have the X-Can and X-PSU and have been pretty pleased. It's not as good as my old Consonance headphone amp, but not too shabby.

A little bird sent me an Audio Alchemy headphone amp that will be run against it tonight.
