    I love old carbs, the simplicity and craftsmanship. My 1949 Harley had a Linkerd (sp?) that was so easy to work on. I just turned my wifes cousin on to my 1926 Fairbanks Morris 2hp stationary motor and my Maytag washing machine 2 cycle motors.
    Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)
    Preamp: Joule Electra LA-150 MKII SE
    Amp: Wright WPA 50-50 EAT KT88s
    Analog: Marantz TT-15S1 MBS Glider SL| Wright WPP100C Amperex BB 6er5 and 7316 & WPM-100 SUT

    I too have a thing with carbs. I used to be a motorcycle mechanic in college and my dad was a street rodder. I've rebuilt a carb or two in my day thats for sure.

    Thanks for the kind words. I really got lucky finding a 41 year old car in such pristine, original condition. She had two previous owners, older gentlemen, a USAF colonel and then a major.
