Going through some old boxes earlier today I found some memory sticks. I had one for everything. Cell phone, mp3 player, digital camera and so forth. Well I went through my Sony Walkman phone's memory card and found some interesting pictures. This is when I was still in the corps, I got to go spy-rigging. First pics are of some of us waiting, then I took a few more while up in the air. It's no joke when you're ready to land though because that harness really makes your legs go numb. Kick your feet like hell and get them going otherwise you're not gonna have anything to stand on when the guys tied up with you touch down.
Last picture is a set of guys that went after us. No not everyone went, alot of them were chicken ****s lol. This was in Feb of '07
That is nuckin futz ^^^^^^
Why do they call it spy rigging?

Ok, first one is of Shadow at only 9 weeks old. This was her first bath. :p
Next one is at around 16 weeks, she gained an interest for TV
Last one is of my 2 trouble makers continuing to rough house when they're not supposed to lol
Edit: Guess I got Shadow's first bath posted on another thread (companion pic's thread).
To be honest with you, I have no idea.
I was assisting in a course in regards to my MOS, and when it was time for lunch the instructors said "hey lets go down to the field to check them out spy rigging."
I've seen it, but didn't know what the hell it really stood for. Well because they got through their runs quick they offered any of us to go if we wanted. I was really afraid of losing my phone though but went anyway lol
Not anywhere near as fun as sky diving though, but it was fun for sure. Same concept when using your arms, if you have them out and turn them ever so slightly you're sure to spin like the damn rotors on a chopper. And yes, the first set of feet are mine in the pic looking down...I was kind of in the middle.

We are getting a puppy! She is 6 weeks old right now, but she won't be ready to take home for another two weeks. We aren't sure what kind of dog she is though, since she and her eight brothers and sisters were all abandoned at 3 weeks. The rescue's best guess is Border Collie mixed with possible Lab, but we'll know more as she grows up.

From Wired:
"In August, we posted a photograph of some odd, rare clouds known as Morning Glory clouds without providing an explanation for how they form. In response to reader interest, we followed up with meteorologist Roger Smith of the University of Munich, who has studied their formation.
“Over the years we’ve developed a good understanding of them,” Smith said. “It’s no longer a mystery, but still very spectacular.”
The Morning Glory phenomenon is the result of the particular configuration of the land and sea on the Cape York Peninsula, in a remote part of Australia. The peninsula tapers off from about 350 miles wide to 60 miles as it extends north between the Gulf of Carpentaria to the west and the Coral Sea to the east. The easterly trade winds push the sea breeze across the peninsula during the daytime, which meets the sea breeze from the west coast in the late evening. The collision produces a wave disturbance moving inland to the southwest that is a key part of the cloud formation.
As moist sea air is lifted to the crest of the waves, it cools and condensation forms a cloud. Sometimes there is just one wave, but Smith has seen as many as 10 together in a series.
“If you look at the clouds, it looks as if they are rolling backwards,” Smith said. “But in fact the clouds are continuously formed at the leading edge and continuously eroded at the trailing edge. That gives a rolling appearance.”
