The big JBL monitors are comely - but I sure don't like the way they sound. Way to harsh/shrill for me.
Looks like a harman/kardon Citation 17 preamp?! A good preamp, but not a great one.

That guy looks a little... dangerous.

The S. Harris cartoon in the penultimate post is one of my favorites. I work in biotechnology process development, and I like to use it as an illustration of how (in my view) process development fits into the drug development scheme :-)

When ya use a term like "penultimate" round these parts, you should also maybe provide an explanatory diagram.

"Ultimate" means "the last," or "the best," or "as far as it goes," etc.

"Penultimate" means "the one right before that" -- that is, one step back from the ultimate of anything.

"Penultimate" is often misused to mean "a step beyond ultimate," but that is incorrect.

After that one shore leave in Rio, I had a wort on my wheezer that was pretty much cleared up with a healthy round of penicillin.
( although I sometimes experience furfuraceous desquamation from time to time).

Wort is German for word. Blume is German for flower, or Pflanze for plant. I'll take your word on the rest of it
