"Life is one grand, sweet song, so start the music." ~ Ronald Reagan
"I love songs about horses, railroads, land, Judgment Day, family, hard times, whiskey, courtship, marriage, adultery, separation, murder, war, prison, rambling, damnation, home, salvation, death, pride, humor, piety, rebellion, patriotism, larceny, determination, tragedy, rowdiness, heartbreak and love. And Mother. And God." ~ Johnny Cash

The big JBL monitors are comely - but I sure don't like the way they sound. Way to harsh/shrill for me.
Looks like a harman/kardon Citation 17 preamp?! A good preamp, but not a great one.

The S. Harris cartoon in the penultimate post is one of my favorites. I work in biotechnology process development, and I like to use it as an illustration of how (in my view) process development fits into the drug development scheme :-)

Lungwort for example, was named that because the spots on the leaves looked like the spots on diseased lung tissue, and back then people thought that attribute would help heal the condition.
thats all i got.
humpty dumpty was pushed
The view from my deck (in Point Pleasant beach NJ) after Hurricane Sandy tried to wash me into the Atlantic. (Nice Try)
After that one shore leave in Rio, I had a wort on my wheezer that was pretty much cleared up with a healthy round of penicillin.
( although I sometimes experience furfuraceous desquamation from time to time).
