This should give you a scale of just how big the speakers pictured above are...the Avalon Tesseracts, that is....much bigger than I had thought. How big is your next speaker build, Face?

    Not quite that large.

But 10ft^3 probably isn't a whole lot smaller.

FYI, they're using Acoustic Elegance (sub)woofers with Accuton for the rest. At least $6k in drivers alone, per speaker.

It's more than halfway done. The speaker itself I hope to have complete in a month or two, finishing will have to wait till warm weather though.

Only if you leave the white sheet on them. Looks like they realized it halfway through taking them off and had to call the red sheet for guidance.

That guy has a don't dare critisize look about him.....

Sony ES speakers are similar but not pointy. Ed has a pair of the smaller Sony ES and they sound very good with some subs to shore up the bottom end.

Fred, I found an interesting way of utilizing my wife's plastic folding table. I am sure now it has a bow and she is going to make me compensate with a new one. lol

By the way, these are mid-woofs. the woofs aren't in the pics since I am still waiting for the delivery. I wanted to build a monitor with the ribbon tweets but someone suggested me to build a 3 way? Geez...I wonder whom.

The size of the cabinets they need looks like the KingKong coffins.
