Blue, what city do you live in?
I Love Austin/hill country/the lake...but I do miss living in a coastal town on the ocean. Gotta love the deep blue & having a boat.
    Enjoy it!

I also am taking a strong dislike of BlueMD and his 'cheerful' mid winter pictures.
We are driving on our ice (ocean and river) and hope it is out before June, unlike last year. I would take a picture but it depresses me too much.
Joking of course, but I really envy you lowly 48ers' sometimes.

It was funny. I walked out of work today and the sun was beating down. I was like, "Damn, it's beautiful out." I pulled the sun-roof back and rolled down the driver-side window. About five minutes on the way home I rolled the driver-side window back up but left the sun roof.

When I got home, I pulled out the cell phone and saw that it was 33 degrees out.

    Sick, just sick.....

it's been like that in New England too... it's all relative.
30 and springtime sun feels pretty good after we've had mornings at -15 or so...
We've even seen some liquid water on the roadsides this weekend.

well -- those are Altec Magnificents; the true domesticated version of the VOT (with the midbass front horn loading, just like the Real Thing). Magnificent speakers they are indeed, and not at all common... but, yeah, I imagine $6 or 8k would let them out.

12 March 2014 - it's happenin' again. 12 to 18 inches of wet, heavy snow forecast by the end of Thursday. Gale-force winds overnight.

Early this afternoon, the turkeys looked like refugees (or the Donner Party) trompin' though the field...
