It's always fun messing around with large pictures. The first one is the stripped version of the original. It was modified in a number of programs initially according to all of the Metadata.

If anyone is interested, the photographer explains in pretty good detail how this image came about:

    I'll play.

Just got my baby back yesterday from getting a little TLC. For anyone that's familiar, it's not only an HD, it's a pre-series II. And no, it's not for sale.... :D

I think the original was fine. On the others the sun is too blown out. If I were to do anything it would be to lighten the water...just a little to get some blue into it. I like the sky the way it is.

I don't think anyone was offended, firearms talk and pictures have been against the rules since I've been here.

The mods have closed threads and removed pictures of firearms here on several occasions...with no complaints from members...because it is part of the stated rules.

I was testing this Sherwood amp, given to me by JoZmo some time back, in the LR tonight.
It's going to rotate in to our son's college dorm system (running a pair of Monitor 5s, interestingly enough). His 'normal' amp suffered a little setback a few weeks back. I'll see if it is reparable.

First attempt at concert photography. A small sketchy club on East Hastings (in particular - main and hastings). This shot was Gillian from the Flairs. It was ridiculously dark in there the majority of the time.
