I have only had it a day, but it does not seem to hurt the doorframe at all. (if you tighen it to much I guess it could). It is rated for 175# when pressure fitted.

The back side of the blue blocks looks like it has a thick 2" wide rubber band on it - that is what contacts the door frame. You twist the entire thing to unscrew it and pressure fit it to the door frame.

The metal brackets go around the door stop (moulding on the door frame) and into the blue blocks. All they do is keep the blocks from twisting when swinging hard.

The door still shuts with the pressure bar in place (and is mounted high enough we don't walk into it) so once in place, you only have to take it down when you want to take the bar somewhere. (we remove the swing when we are not there to supervise).

I really like that civic. It's definitely thinking outside the box. It would seem the transporting his bike is more important than his choice of car. (A truck would have worked too, but...)

Here's a couple interesting pics. i like taking candids, I snagged a pic of my friend's father walking at the beach.. we couldnt stop pissing ourselves for weeks... Im still laughing... we abused him for a good year about this photo.. scary part is, this guy is retired CIA... I guess the agency messes with your mind.

I took the volleyball pic too. The sumo one is from the internet..

what did I do wrong... are you telling me you didnt find that picture frikin hilarious with a guy wearing a cut off pink t shirt... i mean, I have never seen that... ever... even in south beach or fire island... that's some seriously bad fashion sense. the black bandana and the orange shorts puts it over the top.

ok, here, I'll make up for it. One of my volleyball honies I played with.. I picked her up in a club in a casino.. She was dancing on top of one of the speakers... caught a glance from her from across the stage, after she got off I walked straight across the bar and did a flat out cold call approach even though she was surrounded by a group of guys... by far one of my ballsiest approaches ever. ps. the pics dont do her face justice but decked out in a little black dress she was stunning..
