Which amp? help me please

I have one alpine type r sub it is dual voice coil at 2ohm I was thinking about the alpine MRD m500 but I am open to suggesstions thanks for all of your input

i assume you mean dual 4 giving you a 2 ohm load. The alpine is a good amp i would also look into the polk c500.1 it is a power house amp that will do great on a single sub. Other options i would consider are the kicker sx650.1. zx400.1 and the MTX TA3401. i have done and heard installs with all these amps and was not dissapointed with any of them.

Or it could be a dvc 2 ohm sub, so he could wire it to 4 ohms. Which is what it sounds like to me.
