    Question I need help choosing a sub.

    Hi everyone. I have a little problem. I recently upgraded my home theatre speakers to Polk's. They consist of a pair of LSi15's, LSic center, and a pair of LSiFX's rears. I was wondering if anyone can steer me to a really good-great subwoofer for anywhere up to $1000. I was looking at a couple Velodyne subs on ebay and also the Polk PSW1000 or PSW505. Can someone give me an idea of what I should go for. Thanks.

    I love my svs ultra.
    I have never heard a polk or velodine sub personally.

    you should do a google search on SVS and HSU and do a little reading up on those two brands.. the downside is they are online companies.. so you can not demo them in a store. they are both excellent subs.. sub output and value make them so popular. not to mention they are amazing subwoofers.

    Where are you located? Someone in here may have one of them.. and you could maybe demo it in their home.

    I can tell you what sub i like.. but I can't tell you what would be best for your room and likes.
