    Default iPod connector from Marantz

    Seems promising ...

given the fact that it's from Marantz, the quality should be good and I like the fact that it has an onscreen display.

For the Pragmatist you can actually hook that up to a 2 ch amp and use it as a preamp

I really do not understand why they make these docks so that the IPOD just barely fits into them. This is another example where the cases you purchase to protect the lens from getting scratched has to be removed so that you can dock it. Guess I will continue to stick with the universal dock which does not require a case removal until someone decides to come up with a dock that will handle any MP3 player or IPOD and still give you video type functions.

    Rant over...

good point! Yeah I guess they are more worried about having a super clean look than being more flexible and that just is not good in the US market. Flexibility is key.
