    Default sub noise

I have a new rotel rsx - 1067 that I just hooked up this week. I upgraded my yamaha receiver to this rotel and so far it was the best thing I ever did.

I am running 2 polk subs psw 303's. The rotel has 2 preouts for duel subs. I am noticing a slight hiss and popping sound out of the left sub. When I ran the subs off the yamaha I used a y connector and I did not have a problem.

My question is should I go back to the Y connector, or is there a better way to calibrate the 2 subs that are running seperate on seperate pre outs?

Both subs are using the LFE input and I am using thx cables

Thanks in advance from a new guy to the home theater market.

    Could be a ground issue?
Are the subs plugged into different outlets?
    Is the system grounded?
It is just a thought but when I grounded my system I think it made everything work better. It definatly got rid of a hum I was getting.

    but is everything grounded?
I ran everything but my cable input through my panamax and I got ground feedback through the cable ground.
Now I run everything through the panamax and ground it all.
