    Talking New entertainment center!

First off, I didn't see any areas for "Show off your new gear", so I posted it here. Please move it if there is a better place for it ;)

Our new cherry entertainment center arrived today after a long 6 weeks wait! This was my wife & mine 1st year anniversary present to each other and is actually our first new piece of furniture since graduating college. We're pretty excited to say the least! As an added benefit to increased WAF, I have more room for my current gear and room to add an amp, CD changer, etc if I want down the road. :D The cherry finish also matches the Polk cherry finish pretty closely.

The only problem as of now, is proper ventilation for the receiver. I plan to pull it back out soon and cut a larger hole in the back of the entertainment center to allow more cooling. I also saw a Parasound Zbreeze fan in Audio Advisor if necessary.

    Here are a few pics.

Is it ok to use the prop rod on the back of the CSi5 to tilt it down towards the couch? Polk seems to advertise it more as a balance rod to be lowered onto the back of a TV, so I don't want to misuse it and break it off.

Congratulations Matt, it looks fabulous! The wood is warm and matches your home so well. I'm sure you and your wife will enjoy it for may years. Or, at least until you want a bigger screen:)

It's okay to prop the speaker, rubber doorstops work nicely. They are non-slip, cheap and the brown ones will be almost invisible in your lovely decor. Nice set up BTW!

Yep, it's a 36" Toshiba. The furniture guys were kind enough to set it in the entertainment center yesterday. I'm not sure my wife would have been able to help me set that heavy joker in there...
