Please, rephrase into the form of a question.. Do you want an amp? Do you want a Receiver, neither, both? I really cant tell.

He is talking about A/V receiver so maybe he isn't looking for 2ch integrated. AVR with preouts + 2ch amplifier is my guess.

Mike, like the others said, please rephrase the above including the thread title

I'm gonna take a shot here:

You want an amp and have a budget of $300

and tuner for f.m any suggestions ?
You want to buy a tuner and pay fair market value or you want to buy one from the flea market here.

As for the thread title, if you can keep the receiver, send it to garage duty or something. Then grab a new receiver w/pre-outs

Edited... read things wrong. Looks to me like you just want a receiver with preouts and then add a seperate amp or go preamp with tuner section and add an amp? Maybe check out some of the NAD integrateds on the used market, but for that budget you won't get seperates pushing 200-300 wpc... IMO you don't really need anywhere near that power unless you're driving really inefficient speakers. Don't get me wrong, it's great to have headroom and have that extra power, but for normal listening and especially due to the budget I'd recommend not paying a whole lot of attention to wattage ratings. You can do a lot with only a watt or two. That said, what speakers will you be using?

Maybe if he would quit being so lazy, and type full words and sentences, it would be easier to figure out what he wants.

William, I wouldn't take that bet. Hell, even my decoder ring isn't helping.
