    Default More Voting Help...

My friends band is ranked to possibly play Lollapalooza in Chicago this year, and I would greatly appreciate the help with a vote. They've been around a long time, and definitely deserve to play this festival. They're an independent band so throw some love their way.

Thanks, it's really a long shot based on the other bands that are up there with a ton of votes, but man...would be nice. I'm pretty sure they were just added.

I had full VIP all acess last year, but my hook-up isn't there this year. I can't handle those festivals if they're as hot as last years Lolla -- just not my thing.

Yeah, it was way too hot last year. I don't think I'll be going to this years festival, either.

Top 100 from Round 1 moves to Round 2.

Round 2 - Perry Farrell (Uhhh -- FREAK, Musician, Organizer) chooses who goes to round 3, and so on.

After that this band should take the cake since they have 4 albums out there already, and one that I would say is an absolute masterpiece (I plan to offer the VINYL as a Karma at some point).

    Yep, and thanks!

They made it to round 3!!!!

Perry Farrell and celebrities voted and they chose them, and 19 other bands.

They really need your help this time because they need to be in the top four to move to the finals.

How can these Internet things be for real, if and when people like you vote 350 times for a single band/person? Doesn't that defeat the entire purpose or voting? Kinda like, I voted for Bush 409 times this past election to help him win... uh, then I call for a re-vote ;)

Never understood that. It totally skews the numbers. Unless winning is all that matters :D

    A. - They're all doing it.

    B. - This isn't voting for the President of the United States. One is a crime, and one isn't. I admit it's wrong, but refer to point A.

    ;)

Andrew, it's the band on the page that's linked on the top. If you still don't see it, they're known as The Appleseed Cast. Many thanks! :)

Those of you who voted, thanks.

They are in the finals now, and have been invited to play a show with 3 other bands at the Double Door in Chicago on August 2nd. All they have to do now is win over the hearts of the judges to win $10,000 worth of gear from Gibson and a slot in Lollapalooza.

I'm so stoked for them right now, and I will be heading down to Chicago on the 2nd.
