    Default Taking donations.....

    All,

I think it's time that we band together and support an effort to recognize one of our own.

It's come to my attention that St. Cliff the Downtrodden does NOT have a statue in his honor. To my knowledge, he is the only saint without a statue. How can this be? Where will the poor pigeons poop??

Anyhow, I can't sit idly by. I'm volunteering to accept donations. As soon as I can take pictures, I'll be putting one dented can of Starkist Tuna (albacore) on the FM to help raise funds.

I'm currently in contact with Sally Struthers to film a commercial.

Please, brothers and sisters, show how much you care.

    Thank you and God Bless....

    BDT

So far we've got a total plede of 19 cents and some cheese.

Well, somone volunteered via PM a pound and a half of belly button lint although a GENEROUS offer, I'm not sure how we could convert that into cash but if anyone is interested, PM me for details.

I think that we could use that around the base of the statue......

You guys really bring a tear to my eye.

I think we may have Sally. Only sticking point seems to be donuts. She prefers Dunkin' Donuts but we only have Krispy Kreme here. I'm waiting to hear back from her attorney.

I can bring you all the Dunkin Donuts that she can handle! I have to go past 4 of them as I walk to work.

I'll even hit up each store for donations, that way no one store has to bear the brunt of the burden for all those donuts!

BTW, what brought all of this about this time?
