Looks amazing. Great cast, I'm sure good acting, unique storyline, and set in a great time period, a must see.

I saw the trailer tonight for the first time and it looks amazing. I'm really becoming a fan of Christopher Nolan. And anything with Scarlett Johansen is a winner in my book.

I saw this movie tonight. It was nothing short of phenomenal. All I will say about it is that you owe it to yourself to see it. See it before someone spoils it for you.

Memento is one of my all time favorite movies and the cast in this movie really is top notch. I plan on going to see it this weekend.

I thought the movie was really good. I don't recall ever seeing a movie with the same storyline.

I've been drooling over this pic for months.... I absolutely cannot wait to see it and you guys (and gal) are making it worse...
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I wish I could say more about it but I don't want to give anything away. I can say that High Jackman is just awesome and I got to see him without his shirt on!:D

Since it is a movie that can be spoiled in few words. You may want to make the trek to go see it. I don't think anyone will spoil it here, but some asshat at work or something could do it easily.

I'll be picking it up. The reviews so far are giving the video 5/5 for the BRD.

    It is an awesome movie...

Maybe it hasn't been mentioned yet, but the "film style" is a treat for the eyes. Kind of like a sepia-tinged turn of the century carnival poster...

Ron... if I'm not mistaken, you're a Tim Burton fan. I think you'll appreciate this unique approach to art direction. If you remember the video for Tonight, Tonight by The Smashing Pumpkins... it's sort of in the same vein.

edit: scratch all of that, I was thinking of The Illusionist:o :o :o

The Prestige is still an awesome movie. I want to buy it, but I think I'll wait until I pick a high def format.

Yes, the Illusionist is an excellent film, I love the way in which is was filmed, just beautiful. Great cast and very good acting. Some reviews I've read say it's better then The Prestige. I'll find out on Tuesday, can't wait.

Although at the time, I liked the Prestige, after seeing both, the Illusionist wins this one hands down. A much better film. Better PQ and just I felt, a better plot.

Let us know what you think when it comes out though.

    Agreed.

Just watched it. Didn't like it. Too long, too choppy, too boring. It didn't hold my attention like the Illusionist.

I agree 100%. She is my hero. I have been Netflixing ALL of her movies, even the romantic ones just to see her. Best of all, shes less than a year older than me! Now if I could only become famous....

I agree that the Illusionist was better, but I still enjoyed this one.

The Illusionist was much more about Cinemetography, and an eerie sense of mystery, while the Prestige was more of an actual story of revenge and rivalry.

Both were good in their own right, I just enjoyed the Illusionist a bit more.

I just bought The Prestige on Bluray today without seeing it first or reading any reviews. Will be getting to it tonight once the wife gets home from work. Hopefully I won't be disappointed! :D

I give the nod to the Illusionist. The Prestige was OK, but it plodded along for me.

Also, I personally think Jessica Biel is hotter than Scarlett Johansen.
