    Exclamation Dual Subwoofers vs Single

Hey Guys (and maybe some gals)

I'm currently running two SVS PB10-NSDs. I have stacked one on top the other right next to my couch. I bought both of these because it was a lot of bass for a little bit of money. Now, I'm thinking of transferring one of my PB10s to a bedroom system and adding a PB12 plus 2. Is this advisable? or would the different driver sizes disrupt the overall quality. I'm not a bass fantatic, I just like deep clean gut kicking action when I'm playing video games or watching movies. Should I consider a cylinder alternative? I was told the cylinder subs are less effected by room placement. Is this true? Finally, does anone have any experience with how the PB12 plus 2 may sound compared to two PB10s stacked? I just want a general idea of how strong the beast may be.

Are you unhappy with the way the pb10's sound together?

The plus 2 should outperform the 2 pb10's.

No I'm actually very satisfied, but I wondering if there would be a considerable difference. If there isn't then I'm just going to buy another PB10 for the bed room.

Did you try calling SVS and discussing it with them? I have talked to them a few times, and it's been my experience that they're honest and won't try to upsell you for the sake of an extra buck.

I agree, everyone I've dealt with at SVS will shoot it straight everytime. They're a great company to work with. :) Give 'em a call!
