Hi,
I'm using a pair of Eosone RSF-200s as my main speakers. I just got my first subwoofer and two surrounds, and am looking forward to rounding out my system with a center speaker that will timbre-match my mains.
Here's my equipment so far:
--Yamaha HRT-5280 amp (equivalent to RX-V800)
--Eosone RSF-200 mains (48-20,000 Hz); these are set to small on my amp now that I have my sub
--Yamaha YST-SW315 sub (20-160 Hz)
--Polk R15 surrounds (just got these yesterday, used, and haven't set them up yet...I'll set them to small, too, on my amp)
Eosone made a decent center, the Eosone 300. But, because Eosones aren't made anymore, it's hard to find. I've heard good things about the Polk CS1, and wonder if it might be a better match for me than a used Eosone center. Would it give me more room to grow, once I get better mains? (My Eosone 200s would then become surrounds.)
But I won't upgrade my mains for a couple years, probably, so I'd like a center speaker that matches the Eosones well now. Since Polk was a factor in making the Eosones, would a Polk CS1 be a good match for my Eosone 200 mains? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris
