    Good stuff Mike.

Reminds me of listening to music one night with Uncle Charlie - his wife Marilyn walks in about an hour into our session and says 'Why do you guys have 4000 records, but listen to the same 5 or 6 every time you get together?'

    Cheers,
    Russ

Same reasons babes have a hundred pair of shoes and always wear the same 4-5 pair.

In Mike's cartoon...it looks like Dad is punching the clown under the table.

Excellent! I grew up with a Mad Magazine hidden in my 3-ring binder in elementary school. No wonder I'm whacked!

I used to have a cartoon - I think it appeared in Stereo Review in the early 80s.... It showed a guy sitting in his recliner listening to his turntable, obviously hearing something he didn't like. Behind him, one speaker was female and had eyelashes that were going "flutter flutter flutter"; the other speaker was male who was saying "wow!"
