Very nice. It's on my list of cdp's to check out once I get to that level of gear ;)

What were you using before the rotel?

The 1072 will easily hold it's own with some popular big boy DAC's like the Bel Canto and Benchmark. As a transport it's as clean as a CD-ROM drive but with a remote. :)

I really like the halo mated with the lsi towers. I got a chance to audition some rotel amps (1080) the other day. They sounded a little too laid back for me. Nice with B&W speaks however.

The 1072 cleaned up the noise floor so much that I'm able to hear things that weren't audible before. The clarity is unbelieveable. I also noticed more pronounced and clearer mids. Now to try out this HDCD...:)

My girlfriend and I did the room. We like a modern/contemporary/functional style. Thanks for all the compliments on the room. I showed this thread to her and she's all excited now:D
