    Default CC customer service

I had to go back to CC today. I was getting great customer service. Then when I asked for the employee cost (letting the perverbial cat out of the bag) on something the individual looked at me and said "I can't get the price just go up front and ask for a manager he'll get it for you." Started to walk away and threw in if you need anything just let someone know. I was not even finished asking about the item at hand! I know he would not have gotten commision off a sale to me but damn. Has he never heard of common courtesy, respect, or even The Golden Rule? Before all of this I was wanting to audition the new 70's but they did not have any on display so I asked his individual opinion. He said really there is no difference in the sound unless your really anal. I was like !!!!!!!!!!!!!! New cabinet new tweeter and no difference WOW. Plus if someone is going to send that much on a set of speakers. I think they should be anal about what they want!

wait, are you a CC employee? Or were you just curious? If you are a CC employee, why didn't you just demo them at your store?

All I have to say is that guys an idiot just for telling you there's no difference with the new speakers. I thought the difference was drastic.

Yes I am an employee. I work at a distribution center so we don't have any display area. When I want to check something out before I buy it I have to go to a store.

    Ha Ha cool.

Hey guess what- you're not the only CC employee.
How else could one possibly afford two SPL 800's?

If you want to drive to Southern Cali, I'll give you a much better demo. But the gas is probably as much as the speakers.

Don't worry, we don't carry the SPL's anywhere. You just have to call up Velodyne, talk real nice to the lady, and have her fax you the full accomadation list.:D

    Lol, My name is Peter

If you're looking for depth and volume, few 8s will come close to a 15. But like I said, my system is geared toward music, and the 8 suits ME better.

Ok I was wondering because of the name on the e-mail.
I on the other hand am liking the HT thing so I want extreme room shakin water spillin quarter bouncin bass. I have already thought about another 15. Think that would be overkill in my 14x18 APARTMENT living room?

C'mon now- over kill? with subs? Ther'es no such thing. Jo5 (I think that's his name) on the forum has 5 subs in his home theater, two of which are PSW 650's, I think.

But realisticly, I think that would be a little much for an apartment.

But hey- if you want 30 hertz at 120 db go for it.

thats a pretty sweet deal on the ct. How do you like it? I ad-match DVD's at wal-mart with a CC ad:) . If the ad only shows something like "low price" I go to the web site print the price. Take it and the ad to wally world. that usually works for me.

    Default CC employee cost

How much of a discount can CC employee receive on a pair of speaker (i.e. polkaudio or Velo)? Is the discount applied to LSi speakers? How long do you have to work for CC before you can qualify for the discount?

If you can't answer the above questions in the forum, please email at kn505@yahoo.com.

    Thanks.

sorry dude but I can't go there on the prices. The length of employment for the discount I can't remember but I don't think it is very long. As to how much our discounts are. If we told you we could lose our discount privelages and jeoperdize the same for the rest of our associates. The only true answer I can give is a suggestion. Apply for a part time job with the company. You would then be receiving extra cash for your hobbies and after some time you would get a discount off what you buy. Something else you could take into account. If someone did tell you how do you know if what they said was true?

Considering I worked for CC about 10 years ago, I think I can give you an idea without compromising briancs. If the policy still holds, you have to get past the 90-day probation period before you can get a discount. There is a catch, if you work part-time during Christmas you can get the discounts after 2 weeks. Again this is only if the policy is still valid and the last I heard two years ago it was. For the discounts the employees get . I think this says it all. It is like any other place that offers discounts for employees; you get a great deal most of the time.
